Weeks of Mar. 1 - March 15, 2008
Another hectic period around here not that we are complaining. As we thought we’ve put in another ~ 25 Viral Score affiliate sites. Also updated our payment terms, beginning on March 15th, to include 3% net 10-days. Offereing this as an incentive hoping that more clients will choose to pay online rather than by cheque which is so SLOW.
We finally agreed to a link exchange with some company where it seemed to make sense. Until this one came along we have always declined because the way the links are done does not bring traffic evenly or anywhere close to being fair for both parties.
Had an interesting thing happen to a client. We had been their domain name registrant when all of sudden they wanted to transfer the domain name away. This of course is fine, what ever the client wants. However in this case the client told us that the Government of Canada required them to transfer the domain to their in house registry. Warning bells in our heads or what. You got it it was those guys at Registrar Canada (something like that) whose stationary and presentation leads many to think that they are Government. We quickly got that all sorted and the client apparently called these guys up and launched a rocket in their direction.
The upgrade to the office workstation is still not complete but should, repeat should be before end of March. We’d like to get another year out of this machine before we should replace it. We’re giving serious consideration to a commercial product next time. This fall we plan to do the last planned upgrade to our current workstation with the purchase and installation of this triple LCD monitor set up from Zenview. Click here for more information.
